It has been seriously suggested that the Canary Boot Polish tin with its graphic of a yellow canary on a green field provided the inspiration for the For the Norwich City Football Club Badge
Certainly the design of the tin predated the club by a few years. Here endeth the local (to Norwich) history lesson.
